  Students have been learning about the benefits of saving money and took part in the amazing race challenge in the hall.  

           Students enjoyed dressing up in their cultural outfits and participated in the Tongan Language week.  They did some amazing artwork as well.  

  Willie and Caitlyn received a principal's award for having a positive behaviour for learning and following the school values.  Well Done to Both of you!!!

  Happy Happy Birthday to Joseph who turned 9 years old on the 30th of August. 

In this trip we learnt about volcanoes and looked at different types of volcanic rocks.  We also learnt about how to prepare ourselves for a disaster like volcanic eruption.        

We have a sports session every Thursday at 12.30 where the instructors teach us lots of sports skills such as jumping for heights and jumping for distance.  

This term our concept is resilience and the global learning intention is to understand, describe and explain the causes and effects of world events and phenomena such as disasters and suggest ways of dealing or coping [...]

This week was the Maori Language week and we discussed about Matariki and the seven stars.  Students enjoyed learning some Maori words and making stars.
