Here we have my older students who started in Room 2 at the very beginning of 2014. One of our very first Maths lessons was a task I had them do and that was I gave them a bunch of coloured counters and see what they would do with it. They worked in pairs and in groups and this is what they came up with…..some sorted them in colours….some shared them with each other to get equal amounts. Their journey has begun……
