The morning of Thursday the 30th of March, Room 9,10, 11 and 12 went on a trip to Norana Park for their first cleanup of the year.

When we arrived, we straight away got out of the bus and quickly dashed to the park. We settled down and then we grabbed a garbage bag. We were ready for the cleanup.

We dashed to every single piece of rubbish and made sure that it went into one of the garbage bags. We walked for 15 minutes and found an old baseball court, but surprisingly we found something, even more, mind blowing!

It was an old working watch to wear. We walked back with 3 bags full of rubbish.

After 15 minutes we had a break near the beach. After hard work, we were super hungry. We ate until our tummies were full, then we took pictures of our accomplishment.

Once we had finished with our clean up, we packed up and went back to school.

I felt great as I did something good for the community.
