A treaty is an agreement that two people or countries sign.
In New Zealand the Maori and the Crown signed the Treaty of Waitangi so they could agree to live together and not have wars.
In our class we also have a Class Tree Treaty. The leaves of the our tree represent all of us in Room14. Our treaty tells us what we should do in the classroom.
