On the 13 March 2013 we went to Aorere Park to challenge 8 other schools for the South Zone Championships.
I was excited because I have never played in the softball tournament before so it was a new experience. We lost no games and won 5. We were in the final with Viscount. I though we might lose but when we won I felt amazed. I felt so happy when we were coming home with the trophy. Velonika was our captain. She was telling us how to hit the ball and do a home run. I got a home run.
We were so excited to tell Mrs Cavanagh.
