We were learning and experimenting with static electricity.
The rubbing of the balloon against our hair produces electrons, which are negative charges.
The electrons in the balloon attracts protons in the can, which are positive charges. The positive and negative charges combined forces the pushing movement of a light object (an empty can in this experiment).
Students were able to ask questions about these scientific terms and are now asking to learning more about the Science strands like Physics and Chemistry.
