The tamariki enjoyed every moment of the haerenga to Rotorua- From making their own lunch to visiting places. The time was short- too short BUT days & nights were filled of things to do. Next time- maybe a bit longer.
Day 1– Ka kite Sutton Park School. Hello Keswick Christan Park with a pit stop at Waharoa. A short visit to Matua Marsh Herewini at Ruamata. Then a dip in to Lake Rotorua.
Day 2- Ka rawe a Waimangu me ōna taonga. Ka pai te kai i te taha o te roto o Rotorua. I hikoi tatou i roto i te marae o Ohinemutu. Ka whakatau i roto i te puna kaukau o Kuirau.
Day 3– Pack up time to go home. Clean up our wāhi noho, mihi ki ngā tangata i tiaki i a matou. Then Miranda, here we come.
