Reading in Room 20 is regularly and interestingly held. Teacher and students have shared reading using Big Book Stories. Here, students are encouraged to use different reading strategies like prediction, connection, visualisation, clarification and making inference.
Group guided reading is independently conducted with the guidance of a leader. Each group does activities such as oral reading, comprehension questions and summary writing based on their story.
Students love reading. They believe that they can travel around the world and learn a lot of information when they read.
