Room 20 had very interesting experiences when they learned “Farming as a Process.” They explored the lesson by actually visiting Gallagher Farm. There, they encountered varied insights such as how cows are being fed, shifted and milked. They also clearly understood the “whys and hows” of the milking process. More so, they came to vividly know that the life of a farmer is not so easy but it is rewarding.
In class, students learnt the processes of making butter and healthy drink, shearing, turning fleece into yarn and many more. The highlight of these activities was writing a procedure. In the end, students had fun learning the topic and gaining significant ideas that are useful in their young lives.
