Nearly 60 akonga, throughout the kura, came to Ruma Tuawha to : WHAKANUIA TE REO MAORI, ÅKINA TE REO MAORI. Whaea Molly, Whaea Jeanie, Whaea Uru and Whaea Tania assisted and taught akonga waiata, haka and about Matariki. The week began with Nirvana Fidow and Siyah Edwards leading te hui-a-kura. Tamriki from Ruma tuawha reciting a mihi and their whakapapa on Te Reo Irirangi.  Waiata, haka, rakau and poi with whaea ma in Rooms 2 and 4.  Making whetu to celebrate Matariki.  Finishing with kaitahi where all akonga and whaea ma participated in preparing kai and eating kai.
