O LE FAIGA O LE LU’AU po o le PALUSAMI.

First time these children ever made lu’au.

Mr Reupena’s teaching these kids the process of making our lu’au.Step 1. Get the taro leaves ready.

Step 2. Cut up the onions and add to the coconut cream.

Step 3. Take 5 to 6 taro leaves, place them on the palm of your hand forming a deep circle.

Step 4. Pour half a cup of coconut cream in it.

Step 5. Fold it and place it carefully inside the oven pan.

Step 6. Cook slowly in the oven for 1 hour or until it’s thoroughly cooked.

You also need cooked taros or bananas to eat your palusami with, and if you can find a corn beef hmmmm.
