While we were on school holidays Tupou was swimming in Hamilton, where she broke Paralympics NZ S9 Open long course record in the 50m and 200m backstroke.
She also broke paralympics NZ S9 Open short course rcord in 50, 100, 200 backstroke and 50, freestyle.
Open record is for 20+ year olds but Tupou broke it so she is able to claim it.
In total Tupou holds:
3 open records
3 junior records – Long course
4 open records
4 junior records – Short course
Well done Tupou!
